Digital Retouching

Sometimes existing photographs of events that are difficult to recreate are all that are available. They may have problems in them that confuse or distract the viewer. Many times these images can be corrected through digital retouching.

This photograph was taken by a contractor during rising floodwaters. The additional barriers on the left created a lot of clutter and confusion.

 

 

 

 The extra barriers were removed and the main barrier was extended out of the picture to grab more attention and to give a representation of what the barriers look like inside.
